Gunnersbury Park HLF Parks for People Project Evening Walk

(led by Jan Anderson, Ealing Council Landscape Team)

Join us to explore the former gardens of Princess Amelia and the Rothschild family and learn about the recent HLF restoration works to the grade 2* registered parkland. We’ll look at some of the restored Georgian and Victorian parkland features including designed views, ponds, follies and gardens. These are complemented with a range of contemporary park features including bespoke children’s play equipment, interpretation artworks, a thriving community garden and a new café, all to meet the needs of our 21st century park communities.


Date: Tuesday 7th August, 2018

Time: 6:30-8pm, after which you are welcome to join us in a local pub for some food and a drink.

Meet: outside the Gunnersbury Park Museum main entrance, Popes Lane, W3 8LQ.


Nearest tube station is Acton Town a 5 minute walk (District and Piccadilly lines). Note – if you are travelling from Gunnersbury Station or Kew Bridge Station please allow 30 minutes walk to reach the museum.


Ticket Prices:

General Admission – £5 (of which will be donated too the Gunnersbury Museum and Park Development Trust, Charity number 1168709 ). Numbers are strictly limited to a maximum of 25.
